A fine Georgian tortoiseshell tea caddy shaped with a distinctive pagoda-form lid. The interior fitted with two tortoiseshell-lidded tea canisters and a velvet-lined lid. It is mounted with ivory edging and raised on turned nut bun feet. A superb example of early 19th-century craftsmanship.
